It is precisely at this time of year that the wild swans land on the lake up north. They stop by on their way for a week or so, until all have headed south.

After 8 and a half years, I have ended my radio show on CICK 93.9 fm, called the Shaman's Fire, Saturdays live on 10 am-11 am, replayed on Sundays. At our barbecue celebration Sept. 4, I was presented with this very nice commemorative plaque.
