According to the stay-at-home order (which you can read here: https://files.ontario.ca/solgen-stay-at-home-order-2021-01-), you ...are allowed to leave your place of residence to obtain goods or services that are necessary for the health or safety of an individual, including health care services and medications. As a result, dental practices like ours are allowed to continue providing essential care while the order is in effect. This includes emergency and urgent care. We understand that you may have questions or concerns regarding your upcoming appointment with us and we kindly ask that you give us a call so that we can discuss options, go over the facts and answer any questions you may have about our COVID-19 safety protocols. We are pleased to announce the re-opening of our clinic on July 7th. We have made significant changes including a screen at the reception desk, altering the waiting room to allow for physical distancing, temporary doors to close-off operatories, and increased use of PPE as well as other new guidelines to ensure the safety of our staff and patients. Ontario’s regulator for dentistry, The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario (RCDSO), has strongly recommended that all non-essential and elective dental services be suspended in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
