Last night’s weather was cold, windy and wet and our Blanketeers got soaked, but all for a good cause. Handing out blankets, toques and freshly baked gingerbread cookies (special thanks to Fior di Latte!) was our way of helping spread a little warmth and sweetness in this bitter time we are all experiencing. What made it even more enjoyable was having recording artist Thisisisobel aka Isobel Ralph join us in helping #SpreadTheWarmth. She and her Dad, Doug, added value to our team and its great timing as Isobel just released her newest single #Gingerbread and in doing so donated ($459.59) proceeds from the sale of her song to Blanket BC and we could not be more grateful and honoured. So please have a listen to her song and support local, independent artists like Isobel!
