Blank Space 31.10.2020

It’s time people maybe this time the city will listen or maybe they will stick their head in the sand again. We have given the city main opportunities to create theatre space with no cost to them only to be turned down. However, maybe just maybe they will listen. Take the survey and see if we can knock some sense into this city.

Appraised for 575,000 Asking 499,000 click link below for complete listing. - this house is over 4000 square feet in total, this bungalow is huge prefect for a... growing family. Most acreages they have septic tanks which are a pain and expensive to replace. Having city water and city sewer makes this acreage ideal. This bungalow has a full basement which is partially finished, it also includes a huge room that is underneath the garage. The room is as big as the garage and it would be prefect for a theatre room. Call Keith pushor or your favourite realtor and check this acreage before its gone. Here is the link for the listing https://matrix.albertaone.com/Matrix/Public/Portal.aspx

Christmas is around the corner here are some facts about Christmas you may not be aware: 1. Since 1918 the city of Boston has received a giant Christmas tree as a gift from the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. Boston lent considerable support to the city of Halifax during their 1917 explosion and subsequent fire disaster. 2. Nova Scotia is the worlds leading exporter of Christmas trees.... 3. Christmas trees are sold in the US since 1850, and on average, it takes 6-8 years for a Christmas tree to be fully grown, although it can take 15. 4. Before turkey, the traditional Christmas meal in England was a pigs head and mustard. 5. Attending midnight mass is customary among French-speaking Canadians, as well as attending feasts on Christmas Eve. A stew made from pigs feet is a traditional Christmas meal in parts of Quebec. 6. Brenda Lee recorded Rockin Around the Christmas Tree when she was only 13 years old. 7. White Christmas by Bing Crosby is the best-selling Christmas song ever. It has sold more than 50 million copies around the world. 8. If you were born in Canada after 1964, your Christmases probably involved an annual viewing of the animagic holiday special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. Rankin-Bass, an American production company, created this beloved Christmas program, but did you know that theres a secret Canadian connection? All the characters voices (with the exception of Sam the Snowman) were performed by Canadian actors, singers and voiceover artists at the RCA Victor Studios in Toronto. 9. If you gave all the gifts listed in the Twelve Days of Christmas, it would equal 364 gifts. 10. Visa cards are used 5-6 thousand times every minute during the Christmas season. 11. The Santa Claus parade has been held every Christmas in Toronto since 1905. Almost 1,800 people take part in the parade, and about 500,000 people line the parade route. 12. Since 1982, Santas Post Office has employed mailroom elves from Canada, and he has received more than 20 million letters from children around the world. Canada Post volunteers donate over 200,000 hours of their time each year to help Santa respond to every letter that arrives on his doorstep. 13. Our modern-day Santa Claus has to travel at more than the speed of light to deliver gifts to all the kids in the world and he would have 31 hours (considering all the times' zones) on Christmas day to get his favorite job done. We hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! From Blank Space

THE BLANK SPACE HAS BEEN SHUT DOWN BY THE CITY We deeply regret to announce that, due to problems encountered with the City of Lethbridge Planning and Development Department, the Blank Space performance venue at 1416 2 Ave S must close its doors. This brings to an abrupt end an initiative that would have provided Lethbridge with a much needed, small and affordable performance space at no cost to the City. Our two fundraising shows, The Gin Game and The Christmas Carol, have b...Continue reading
