A trip down memory lane. Once again, thank you Town of Vermilion!

We usually do an RGM story at this time of the month. However, for the Heart's Month we would like to highlight all our Managers. To all our leaders, THANK YOU for leading with a HEART.

Our Taco Bell Millar and 22nd team and their new way of celebrating Christmas with the team! Thank you for all your hard work, especially to Raniel for being a great support to both locations!

A new way of celebrating Christmas for our Leduc team! It might be done virtually but the team had so much fun with the online games!! Foods were provided to all employees who worked that day and were not able to join the call. Thank you to Adonis for the great leadership!

Our featured manager for this month has been with the company for a decade and two. Beatriz started her journey with BLCO since November 2008, when she first came to Canada. She is one of our long-time managers and is currently running KFC Slave Lake. I was hired as a team member and then promoted as the supervisor. Shortly after, I was offered the manager’s job and the opportunity to run the location, said Beatriz. ... When she first started out at the location, Beatriz desired to help the team and grow her career more in the company. So, when the opportunity knocks on her door, she did not hesitate to grab it. She loves her role in developing team members since then. It is a challenge as I take responsibility of all my employee’s actions. So, I make sure I provide them proper guidance and clear directions, Beatriz added. It is so rewarding when you see each of these employees grow and you achieved the results together. I take it as a sign of respect to me and to the business when they do their tasks well Beatriz describes herself as a manager full of positivity. She loves spreading cheer to all her employees, forging them all as one team and one unit that works together for success. Outside of work, Beatriz is a mom and a wife. She spends a lot of time with family and friends in the church (Church of Christ). She loves going out for picnics with family, binging on movies, strolling in the park, and going to church. Beatriz said that being a manager is almost like being a parent. You become your employee’s role model. They follow what you do and look up to you for guidance. When you are a manager, you walk the talk. You lead by example. You count the mistakes and correct them but never ever forget to celebrate successes
