The Blessed Leaves' Story Alex and Erich, Blessed Leaves co-founders, are health enthusiasts. Alex had suffered from allergies and Erich from a debilitating autoimmune condition. They discovered the hard way how harmful the chemicals and genetic playing around with food could be. By avoiding this dangerous human intervention as much as they could, and going back to eating in as simple and natural a state as possible, they were restored to good health. Eating, however, is jus...t part of a bigger picture. Living in the crowded and stressful city of Toronto, the co-founders also agreed that the more pure and unadulterated elements in life, the better; so they started talking about moving to the countryside and prayed for it. That's when the idea of organic farming originated. Approximately a year later, in May 2017, Alex and Erich were already living on a little farm in Keene, ON, where a month later Blessed Leaves was born, starting with organic microgreens. This story would be too long if we were to tell of how blessed we were during this transition. As you see, Blessed Leaves is part of a bigger picture. It's a step towards fullness of life; its name is an acknowledgment that every good gift is from above; it's the fruit of an enormous change in lifestyle; it's a service of love to humanity by providing them with food and inspiration for better wellbeing.
