CARTE BLANCHE FILMS is currently seeking a HAIRSTYLIST for production of a new drama series set to shoot this fall. The hairstylist is responsible to cut, style and maybe even color the actors’ hair during the shoot. The hairstylist works closely with the director, make up and wardrobe department to create the style and look for each characters of the series. Keeping notes and pictures of each different set ups, they must pay extra attention to the continuity and repeatedly ...do touch ups throughout the day. Qualifications: A minimum of 2yrs hairstyling experience is essential, Television set experience is an asset, Must possess excellent time management skill and be self motivated, Essential skills include precision, diplomacy and an ability to work well under pressure, Must be a resident of Ontario, however, the ideal candidate is a primary resident of Northern Ontario. Work Conditions: Workdays are typically 10 12 hours, on location, in variable weather.
