December 1st is #GivingTuesday and, as we approach the day, we want to reflect on and give thanks for all the support that our donors have given us over the years. The Community Discovery Program was developed to provide children who are blind or partially sighted with the time and opportunity for hands-on exploration, which they require in order to learn new concepts in the world around them. Your generous donations have helped us give children who are blind or partially sig...hted the opportunity to learn alongside their parents and siblings, build confidence, and expand their beliefs about what they are capable of. To kick off the holiday season, this Saturday we will be reading Bear Stays Up for Christmas by Karma Wilson at Adam's Accessible Storytime. Bear usually sleeps through Christmas, except this year his animal friends won’t let him. They keep Bear busy so he won’t fall asleep and can be a part of the holiday fun!
