2017 Gold Coast Multi-Nations Tournament at the Broadbeach Bowls Club in Queensland Australia; saw mixed both Visual and Visually Impaired Bowls unite. The final day results saw Australia win Gold in the Pairs and Triples while Wales won Bronze after beating New Zealand Pairs 24 - 7 and England Triples 13 - 8. . Newspaper reporting of 2016 Blind Lawn Bowls Championship at Landner LBC (Still looking for results.. anyone can post if they have them.. Have one or two but will wait until I find it complete)

2016 Canadian Blind Lawn Bowls will be held Sept 12th to 18th in B.C. Lander Lawn Bowling Club will be hosting the Blind Bowls Association Canadian National Championships from September 12-16, 2016. Lawn bowling athletes from all across Canada will be vying for a Gold Medal in their category. The winners will then compete in the International Blind Bowls Association World Championships in Cape Town, South Africa next March.

Blind Lawn Bowlers, Enthusiast and friends of VI individuals - As to my information at BCB (Bowls Canada) and Provincial organizations, There is a big push to open lawn bowls clubs through out Canada to VI and handicap individuals. Even if the door is open and everyone is trying (top down) to achieve something positive: it is up to you. Invite friends if you are a lawn bowler, discuss it at the club b/c it will require a change of thinking as members are slow to accept changes. Ask at your local club.... they are being instructed by their provincial and national bowls organization to get active. Here hoping 2016 is a big year for Blind Bowls in Canada. Moncton Canada.

Always difficult to find photos or stories about Canadian Blind Lawn Bowls. The 2014 Blind and Visually Impaired Lawn Bowlers national lawn bowling championships was held at the Dufferin Lawn Bowling Club and the Brandford Ontario news paper (http://www.brantfordexpositor.ca//canadian-championships-c) carried coverage. Where is the 2015 and other news ?? If you know please post it here. Also this site is yours and administrators are wanted of Blind (visually Impaired) lawn Bowlers.
