They’re done! I’m loving the Easter designs that you helped choose for me! I’m working on the tutorial videos this week and will have them up on my website hopefully by the weekend. There will be a Canada shipping option! I’ll also be adding them to @themakershubofdurham online boutique where you can place a preorder for them. Registration closes tomorrow for my first virtual workshop! Since Covid showed it’s ugly face over a year ago, teaching in-person workshops has been a tough decision for me. I love teaching my craft, but want to make sure everyone is safe and no one is being put at risk. So I’ve teamed up with at @parkwoodestate to host a virtual family design workshop on Sunday March 7th from 11am to 2pm. The workshop will be hosted on Zoom. I’ve hosted some private virtual workshops, ...but this is my first public one. I’m excited to teach again! The materials will be ready to pick-up at @parkwoodestate in Oshawa this Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm. If for some reason you can’t pick up the materials that day, please let me know and we can arrange something. The design will be nailed for you. You’ll be doing the stringing. You also get to choose your stain colour to customize your design. If for some reason you can’t be present during the zoom workshop, I’ll be recording it and I can send you the video so you can complete your design on your own time. The cost is $65 per person. You’ll also receive a mini kit for a cute Shamrock design for St. Patrick’s day. I try to make functional designs when I can. This design is a fun way to display your favourite mugs. I remember chatting with a customer a few months back about new designs and she mentioned making a coffee design to hang mugs off of. I wish I could remember who I was chatting with because I definitely would have tagged them. I have to admit I’m not a coffee lover. Give me all the teas please!
