The subconscious breath tells a story about the mind. A breath practice allows us to rewrite that story, because we rewrite the nervous system. It starts by making the decision to breathe, shifting from subconscious to conscious.
Here is an example of multiple forms of fitness with my brother @movement_manifest - Movement - Cold thermogenesis - Conscious conversation ... - Human touch - Breathwork - Barefoot walking - Gratitude for the elements See more
To witness breath, is to witness life. The quality of life can be seen in the quality of breath. If we experience trauma we develop holding patterns in our breath. ... When we release trauma, we let go of holding onto those patterns. Our breath becomes free, full, and blissful. Our lives become the same. Book breathwork in bio.
EVERYONE WANTS THIS. it’s at our core of our humanity, to be seen and heard. It feels good to be seen and heard.... It’s safe to be seen and heard. Allow yourself to be seen & heard today.
Know thyself. I am here to create, to share, to learn, and to serve in a healthy way. A big part of my intention this year is sharing more of myself with the world, and being unapologetic about it. ... I’ve recently realized a tendency within my self to seek external validation, to deeply care about what others think of me. External validation may temporarily feel self satisfying, but ultimately it takes me out of my own zone of genus. The process of self study, has been instrumental for coming back to my zone of genus. What is your zone of genus?
Next stop ... I’ve got a friend who once told me You can’t host the Olympics living in your parents basement. I don’t want to host the Olympics, nor do I live in my parents basement. (I’ve been staying upstairs through the pandemic )... But what I love about this so much is that it harnesses the belief that, as we grow, so too do our horizons. And my horizon is set over the ocean in the near future. Any guess’ where that is?
Intimacy. Often associated with being limited to romance. Intimacy is not finite, intimacy is limitless. ... Intimacy can be platonic relating to friendships, nature and self. Intimacy is simply being affectionate with your relationships. We are not divorced from our environment, but rather we are a part of it. Realizing that we are in relationship with our ecology. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. The more intimate we become the more we contribute to the whole, thus the more we contribute to ourselves. Be intimate.
The kind of freedom that the old version of yourself could never understand.
The practice (sadhana) At first you think the practice is a limited part of your life, in time you realize that everything you do is part of your practice. - Ram Dass
Move & be still Retreat & stand strong Feel & heal... Give & receive Have trust & question everything Live & die Set boundaries & break all the rules Commune & seek solitude Breathe and retain There is always a place for both. You are always on the path, and we are all just walking each other home.
Not just in our minds either, but through a somatic renegotiation of the nervous system and limbic system. Shout out to everyone doing the inner work.
YOU ARE WINNING RIGHT NOW. Our brain and hormones (endocrine system) acts upon what messages we send it. Neuroscience says that the more we win, the more we win. (dopamine reward system)... You have the power to create momentum in your brain by acknowledging that you are winning right now. Are you building winning moment? Yes or No STOP! (If you answered no) Take a moment. What are you doing well? (Name 3 things) eg: - Doing your best - Supporting someone in your life - Working - Reading - Being kind to yourself - Have freedom of time - Have a smart phone that allows you to read this We are all winning on some level. The question: Will we allow ourself to acknowledge the win? @ Blissful Movements
Everything you do right now ripples outward and affects everyone. Your posture can shine your heart or transmit anxiety. Your breath can radiate love or muddy the room in depression. Your glance can awaken joy. Your words can inspire freedom. Your every act can open hearts and minds. - @daviddeida.live
And we are all just walking each other home. #ramram

Holding Space. For me, being a professional Space Holder, means to be with someone without judgment. To donate your ears and heart without wanting anything back. To practice empathy and compassion. To accept someone's truth, no matter what they are. In this Breathergy workshop, we create a container for you to show up as yourself, to feel and express. ... We use multiple therapeutic techniques such as breath, movement, sound, meditation, community and reiki. @the.aurahouse Join us August 21st. (Link in bio) DM for details.
You feel like youre working hard, yet not getting ahead. You have been sold a career that will make you happy or secure or give you freedom How happy, secure or free do you feel? ... We think: Outward efforts = inward rewards... Reality: Inner effort = inner reward Example: If I clean the dishes out of spite and anger vs. Clean the dishes out of love, and compassion, I still have to clean the dishes... The latter is much more happy, secure, free. Its not about what we do, its about how & why we do it. How is your inner work? What practices / tools do you use?
Where are you operating from?
Comfort Zones. Google comfort zone and you will see endless quotes like There is no growth in comfort & why comfort zone is dangerous along with pictures of arrows directing you AWAY from comfort. YES, Stepping out of your comfort zone is where growth often occurs, BUT no one ever talks about comfort being An okay place to be... What is the point of always growing if we never get to be in comfort? Societies that we live in today were built upon the lending system in assumption we would grow and pay back debt, then grow and pay back debt, then grow and pay back debt. No wonder there is such a constant feeling of needing to grow Growth is a useful tool to expand our comfort zone. Please note there is a place for both.
S H A P E S. We create shapes and constructs of ourself in so many ways: - Our homes - Our friends... - Our thought patterns & beliefs - Our bodies - Our work - Our art - Our voice Similar to a puzzle, the shapes we create fit together with congruent shapes. A worthwhile question to ask yourself today might be.. what shapes am I creating ? What shapes am I attracting ?
The way that you walkway walk-through roomroom, is the way that you walk-through life.
How is your breath today? How is your energy today? Some worth while questions you might want to ask yourself. If you are feeling off in either way, this article is for you. ... Breathery is taking off! - Find out what it is here.
Sacred Spaces. Do you have a sacred space? In todays lifestyles, ... We have bigger houses, and smaller families; We have more information, but less sense; more experts, but more problems; more medicines, but less healthiness; Now, more than ever its important to have a sacred space. When ever I step into @the.aurahouse I know I feel welcomed, and excited to co-create a sacred space. This is my community, this is where Ill be teaching. Come make it sacred together. O P E N U P When I first got back to @brampton.downtown I was excited to share breathwork, and some of the eastern medicine with my Community. Unfortunately covid 19 had other plans...... As of recently Ive been been treating a select few in a safe, and sanitized space to breathe with more lung capacity, and tap into inner energies. I am beyond thrilled to share our first official Breath Circle with a small group of at @the.aurahouse (physical distancing of course.)
STOP. If you are dealing with a lot of stress at the moment, YOU WILL BURN OUT... If you dont balance yourself out with time to recharge. Not to guilt trip you, but if you have time to read this post you have time to take for yourself. ... What does that mean, To take time for yourself Breathe is a perfect place to start. I recommend using breath as an anchor point to ground you back into your body multiple times per day. Notice the sensations of your body, breath and environment. Simply taking the time to notice is often enough to create balance In your being.
Every man wants to take the leap, but very few actually do... @becoming.man @ Blissful Movements
