Blomidon Club Championship News Great news for members. The 2020 Men’s and Women’s Club Championship will be held on August 29th and 30th. This will be a 2-day stroke play tournament. Only members with a Golf Canada Handicap can participate so make sure you have your scores recorded with Golf Canada, either via their website or downloadable app.... Cost will be $20 per person. We will be offering Divisional skins ($10) each day and a daily poker ($5) game. A signup sheet will be placed in the Club House so get your name down. We are looking for volunteers for the scoring table. If you are interested email Derek Johnson at [email protected]. We look forward to a great weekend of golf. Course Opening - May 23 - Tee Times from 9 am to 4 pm. Blomidon Golf Club is pleased to announce a soft course opening effective Saturday, May 23, 2020 with tee times available from 9am to 4pm. Due to course conditions this will be walking only, no motorized carts will be available at this time. You will notice a number of changes this season due to restrictions resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic and we ask for your patience as we navigate a new path. Please follow cours...e signage and direction from staff members so we can ensure the health and well-being of our golfing community. Initially we will not be offering food and beverage service and club storage will not be open. We anticipate phasing in these amenities once staff and golfers get accustomed to the new operating procedures. The clubhouse and deck area will remain closed until further notice. Blomidon Golf Club has also invested in an updated booking system this year. We are encouraging members and guests to take advantage of the available features as all players will be required to have a tee time. We are excited about the dawning of a new season and the optimism of better days ahead. We look forward to seeing you at the course, for at least the time being, from a safe physical distance!
