The Bloom Group held its 59th Annual General Meeting on November 19, 2020. As we reflect on how we have evolved in the last year, we also look ahead to an exciting future in which we will work to further fulfil our mission of supporting the most vulnerable people in our community through the provision of housing, health and social services. We would like to thank our members for joining us for this important virtual event.

Today on Remembrance Day, we would like to take a moment to honour the Veterans in our midst - those we support in our housing and financial management programs. We also remember the many soldiers who have fallen in the service of their country. Thank you to our wonderful community for supporting our May’s Place 30th Anniversary Event through your donations, sponsorships and auction bids. With your help, we were able to raise an amazing $109,000! The funds will be directed to purchasing much-needed ceiling lifts, hiring a music therapist, providing art therapy, and setting up a Daily Comfort Allowance - a new initiative that will ensure patients have the independence and freedom to continue living their lives in a way that is meaningful to them.
