I miss teaching. For the time being, here's a resource for 30 days of kids yoga.

Feed positive words to children and they become that and even more.

Dear Families, Today is "Wander and Wonder Wednesday" and we share pictures from our Outdoor Learning Area's food and pollinator gardens. You can virtuall...y wander and wonder about the plants you see and then practice a little "Garden Yoga" with poses created and shared by Kids Yoga Stories. We love you, we miss you, and we wish you well. Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay home as much as you can. Love, Your ODN Family See more

For Nikki. And anyone else who needs this right now. (Feel free to tag our dear, lovely, broken hearted friends. )

I've been a little quiet on this FB page. It's been just a little over 4 weeks of self-isolation in my house hold. How do you stay strong, offer encouragement to those who are experiencing much tougher experiences than yourself? How do you maintain a positive attitude in times of hard moments? How do you carry on when the whole world is crumbling apart? Everything is so uncertain and when it comes to raising kids, I still believe in 100% honesty in our conversations, cou...nting our blessings and being even more grateful for those really "simple" things in life, like a sunny day. And if you know anyone who is having the worse time dealing with financial problems, having to deal with lay offs or closing down a business, strained family dynamics, abuse, neglect, death, or any other kind of grieving. Just listen. Listen whole heartedly with no interruptions, no judgement. Just by listening gives a sense of being heard, to be seen as they are. To be heard and to be seen is to be loved. Stay strong everyone, stay safe and most importantly, be kind.
