What’s Christmas without a perfectly, decorated Christmas tree? Although there’s something to be said about a nostalgic, traditional pine we’re daring you to push the boundaries this year Break from tradition and try one of these 5 unconventional, yet equally dazzling, Christmas tree styles The Candy Cane Tree: We love pink, red and white colour palettes and it’s perfect for those who have a sweet tooth ... The Organic Tree: Minimalist decor is definitely having a moment! Make your Christmas uniquely organic by saying no to Christmas ornaments and using pine cones for decoration instead. You know what they say. Nature is beauty! Movie Style Tree: For the movie lovers! Especially those of you who love Hallmark movies! How about a Christmas tree with cinematic themed ornaments like popcorn buckets, film reels, and other creative movie paraphernalia The Floral Tree: Adding beautiful floral decoration to your Christmas tree is nothing less than a masterpiece. Plus, it will give you a little summer upper during this cold season! The North Pole Tree: An entirely snow-dusted tree is one of our favourites! Add icy ornaments, snow owls, penguins and even adorable little polar bears to give your Christmas tree an amazing north pole look. What are some of your favourite tree styles? This Holiday Season is certainly going to be different We could all use a little bit of extra cheer this year, so we’ve compiled a quick list of ways you can share the magic of the holiday season - while staying safe! 1 Prepare a holiday care package for family and friends There may be some people missing at the table this year, so fill care packages with some of your favourite, shared holiday treats and traditions and mail it to your loved ones! ... 2 Now, more than ever, our communities need us! Donate to a charitable cause like FoodShareTO You can visit them at https://foodshare.net/ 3 Cookie exchange with a twist This one is a classic for good reason Instead of an in-person cookie exchange, plan to mail out cookies to your friends in advance or drop them off at their front door. Once everyone has received their cookies, hop on Zoom and enjoy them together! 4 Shop local or purchase experience gifts It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen our family and friends. Now, more than ever, we’ve come to understand the value of spending quality time with one another. Opt for experience gifts for family and friends so that you can enjoy together once it’s safe to do so. 5 Secret Santa gift exchange Organize with friends via email, and mail out gifts to one another or porch side socially distanced drop offs. Looking for gift ideas? We’ll be sharing some of our favourite gift ideas later this week! How are you celebrating the holidays this year? Let us know in the comments below .
