Ugh I completely hit a wall this week. Cried like 10 times, snapped at strangers, bought a box of wine. You know, the usual. So very grateful for a long weekend and a possible snow day and the copious amount of cinnamon hearts I’m going to consume. Stay cozy and warm and see you on Tuesday!
I sometimes have to force myself out the door but my daily walks keep me (mostly) sane. Exercise is so helpful for me to manage stress. These blossoms and blue skies were helpful today!
Are you ready for some football?! Throwback to my first (and only) NFL game in 2015 when he quickly realized I had NO IDEA about football. Sporty I am not. But I am missing our annual party this year! And the snacks. Ok mostly the snacks.
See those mountains in the distance? It’s the Olympic Mountain range in Washington State. It’s my favourite state and I can’t wait to go back when it’s safe to travel! In the meantime I can peep on the view

A (pleasant) surprise of 2020 was discovering that my home is my favourite yoga studio of all! It has been such a gift during this wild year to participate in weekly classes over Zoom. My mental, emotional and spiritual health is stronger thanks to my practice. And extra sweet this week by the light of our Christmas tree!
This weekends stay sane activities included time in nature, zoom chats with besties, buying alllllll of the Christmas lights (so cheerful!), online exercise classes and binge watching The Crown and so much Modern Family. How bout you?
And that’s a wrap! Filmed four classes for @doyogawithme today. Look for 40 Minute Restore, Yoga for Upper Body Tension, Yoga for Casual Hikers and Morning Meditation and Stretch sometime in the new year. In total I’ve filmed 17 classes this year, a record amount for me! I’ve got the best job.

I have pressed pause on my in-person classes until January. Luckily I LOVE teaching on Zoom and have seven classes running beginning on Monday! It's a short and sweet three week session with options like Flow Yoga, Yoga4Strength and a new one called Slow Flow to Restore.
