We are back to normal hours (for now). Market will be open 3-7pm now that we are in stage 3 and have an amazing team of volunteers who will be helping us maintain physical distancing. If you are interested in volunteering, please email me at [email protected]. Based on what has happened in other countries, we expect things will have to shut back down again at some point. Please join the mailing list so you can get updates on what is going on. (You can subscribe at ...the bottom of our webpage www.bloorborden.com). Farmers are still taking preorders. You can find their individual sites listed on the webpage. Happy Shopping! Terri

Please note, some vendors have to cut off sales by Sunday night as they start picking and packing on Monday morning.... We will be in the Green P parking lot at Bloor and Borden. We are finally back! It's been quite the effort to navigate how to run this market safely with social distancing measures in place. Thanks to Helen and Gus for their incredible work in this. Wednesday, July 1 is our official market opening. We are staring with five great Farmers.... This year shoppers can pre-order with each farmer using the links below. Please note that order times close at noon on Monday for most, Sunday night for Fiddlehead. Some products and produce will be available for cash free sales. Please wear a mask. Not all the farmers have their produce online yet and some have to close off sales by Sunday Night. Please be patient with the farmers as they figure out how to operate in this new environment as well. 2020 market times: 4:30-6 pm. Know Your Farmer --- Dunbar Organic Farm. It was so popular the first time, Chris is offering it again, get there early if you want a bird! Dunbar Organic Farm grows a variety of organic vegetables and raises free-range, non-GMO chickens. This is Chris' 4th year at the Bloor- Borden Farmers market and 3rd year raising free-range chickens.... Chris is offering a special again on his whole chickens in time for Thanksgiving! If turkey isn't your thing or you just want a smaller bird for small gathering, this is for you! They come frozen with the heart and liver, which are perfect for making gravy. Chris' chickens are not what you would find in a grocery store! Their meat is denser and more flavourful. Chris strongly believes in giving his chickens the best life possible during their short stay. This includes allowing them to range as far as they want and express their natural chicken behaviours, providing non-GMO feed, and giving them treats, such as, fresh peas, watermelon, and lots of overgrown zucchini! Ask Chris what the chicken's favorite treat is and get $2 off a whole frozen chicken.
