PO SY CLUB! 2021 is here and we’re starting the year with a sweet bunch of local tulips for all our Posy Club Members. Join the coolest club in town and have a beautiful bunch of local blooms delivered to your door every Friday. #flowerfriday #posyclub
This campanula is star of the cooler this week. Smells so dang good and they’re the cutest little bell shaped blooms we ever did see.
Happy 2021 friends! May this year be filled with friend hangs, concerts, toilet paper security and of course, flowers. We miss you and can’t wait to see you on the 5th when we re-open!
I’m interrupting this week of naps, snacks and chocolate comas to announce we’re hiring! Here’s the deets: We’re looking for an experienced florist for a part-time position. Must have previous floral design experience and be passionate about garden-style design. We are a dynamic team with all of us wearing many hats. The perfect candidate will live and breath giving amazing customer service and providing our customers with an amazing experience from start to finish. Great communication skills are a MUST as we are an open-book, zero-drama, tight-knit team. We all take turns leading and listening so egos take a backseat. Follow the link in the profile to apply!
That’s a wrap on 2020 for us at Blossom & Vine! What a wild ride this year has been. We will be closed until January 5th so everyone on the team can have a week to chill after a year of no-chill. Thank you to all our our lovely customers and followers for all of your support!
The least Christmasy palette ever but how could I not share?
Hey fellow florists! I dunno about you but this year was hella weird and stressful. I made the decision in the summer that we weren’t going to take on any custom weddings for the foreseeable future. The store was bumping and every time I pulled away to throw myself into a wedding, I felt like I couldn’t give it my all because retail was taking everything I had. Didn’t help that I felt like my design skills weren’t up to snuff so my confidence was rock bottom. Cue the onl...y cure that’s ever worked for me for that particular issue: education!!! This past week I launched myself into @blushandbloom / @bloomschooltoronto digital Floral Design Series course. Totally comprehensive, amazing video tutorials and definitely gave me the boost I was needing. 6 years ago, I reached out to Becky to inquire about a mentoring session. I flew to Toronto and filled with anxiety, took like 8 hours to make 4 bouts in her studio and then she took me for waffles. So... she’s a 10 outta 10 human being. If there was ever a year that justified investing in yourself/your business, this was the one and this digital course is the full meal deal. Photo by @thewildheartscollective See more
We’re back babies!!! We’ll be open for pick up and delivery orders starting tomorrow 11-6. If there’s something specific you’d like, call ahead and we’ll have it ready for you to pick up at the door. We’ll have bunches outside to shop and if you don’t mind waiting, you can order custom at the door as well. #posyclub is on hold until after Mothers Day but we’ll be back with simple bunches delivered right to your door for the week of May 17th!
We have received sooooo many orders from you all for our re-opening and we’re so excited to get back to designing for you!
Dried bud vase duos going out hot.
Our Mother’s Day shop is up on the site. We have a limited number of offerings available this year and as we get closer and can ensure availability, we’ll add a few more. We’ve also added some pretty gift set add-ons to make a complete package! Most of us can’t be with our Mom’s this year - making her feel special with flowers is the next best thing.
Needs no caption.
@kathleen.m.lin whipped up these pretty Palo Santo & selenite bundles so we’ll have them ready for our reopening on May 1st. Any truth to the rumours that selenite helps revive sad plant babies?
