What’s a homophone you say? It has nothing to do with a telephone, and everything to do with wordshow they are spelled, and how they are said. A homophone is a word that sounds the same, but is spelled differently and has a different meaning. Popular examples are bow (I bow to your superior authority) and the bow (branch) of a tree. What other homophones can you think of?
