{OWNERSHIP RESPONSIBILITY} . I woke this morning filled with anxiety. It has been one hellova week! The ups of a wonderful birthday Monday to serious mom-work Tuesday & Wednesday. All while navigating flower auction day & working alone 2 days a week. The shop doesn't stop for me to be the mom my kids need...& my kids don't stop so I can run the shop. I do it all. Simultaneously. & somehow, I have made it through the last 8+ years doing just that. Some days, I don't know how. .... Today's anxiety was brought on by an overwhelming feeling that I had not ordered enough greens or filler flowers for Valentine's Day-Week. This is not a new feeling. So, here I am at the computer, making lists, going over countless orders, doing the math & opening sites to possibly buy more...because I may have missed something...all while watching Thursday's flower auction prices, to prepare for the next 2 weeks. No wonder I am tired. . The take-away...I take this job seriously. It is not a hobby. It is not part-time. It is 24/7 & I do it all to serve my community to the very best of my ability! Everytime I have allowed others get the best of me, allow myself to become frustrated with situations out of my control, it forces me to take a step back, take stock, think bigger, plan smarter. .
