Someone's excited to be here! Meet Plover, the 16 week old Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. Plover was a superstar for his last round of puppy vaccines. Here he is afterwards getting very excited for a well deserved cookie!

Who needs some puppy love? Squid Vicious (named after the bassist from a certain English punk band) is anything but vicious! He is an exceptionally well-trained, calm, and smart little fellow who really brightened our day! You're a rock star Squid!

Meet Hunter! This big, handsome boy feels much more confident when he stands at our level. We were able to do most of his exam with him sitting comfortably on the bench. Good boy, Hunter!

Brutus is ready for Valentine's Day! His human sent this virtual valentine to his girlfriend, Jojo. Meet Silas, East Van's most accomplished feline jazz pianist! Apparently, he quickly learned that if he banged on the keys while his human was working (her desk is right next to the piano), he got attention and treats. Now he "plays" all the time, including, of course, when she is in Zoom meetings with her boss. Keep it up Silas!

Meet Lola Esmeralda! Her creative owner converted an old TV into a lounging area for her - complete with disco ball. Happy napping Miss Lola!

Today's featured pet is the beautiful Miss Lucy! Lucy had previously been diagnosed with kidney disease, which isn't uncommon when you reach age 19! Thanks to the dedication, love and supportive care provided by her owner, Lucy continues to do well at home. Her appetite, energy & coat quality have all improved with medical intervention. Yay Lucy!

Meet Marmite! Not only does this little fellow melt our hearts with those perfect ears and cartoon eyes; he is also a very well behaved young man! Thanks Marmite!

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Blue Cross Pet Hospital continues to practice under a closed-door policy.
