New from Rob Winger... It Doesn't Matter What We Meant, Rob's newest poetry collection, is released tomorrow- but we're so excited we're sharing it today! Partly an investigation of system versus system error, It Doesn't Matter What We Meant is an astonishing new collection of poems that question perception, meaning and context.... This is poetry that complicates what it means to live within and beyond languages, lexicons, and locations around us. From meditations on sleepy wind turbines to Voyager 1's dormant thrusters, from country road culverts to the factory floor's punch clock, Rob Winger examines what it means to be alive right now. Preorder online today or stop by the store to pick up this book in person. And, stay tuned for details on an upcoming event with Rob Winger! Without our crystal ball, we have no idea what things will look like come December and small businesses live and die on Q4 sales. If there is a small independent business you love and you'd like to see them still in business in 2021 - consider starting your shopping early so they can get those sales even if they have to continue to limit the number of people in their shops going into the holiday season. #shoplocal #putyourmoneywhereyourhouseis #indieshops #economybuilders

Thousands of votes helped to select the 'Winner of Winners' from 25 years of Women's Prize for Fiction winning books, and we are delighted to announce that Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie with her novel Half of a Yellow Sun is the winner. Her book ultimately prevailed over a stellar-line up including Zadie Smith, the late Andrea Levy, Lionel Shriver, Ali Smith, Rose Tremain and Maggie O’Farrell, amongst others. This one-off award marks the culmination of a year-long 25th-anniversar...y celebration, including the #ReadingWomen campaign championing a quarter of a century of unforgettable winners. Chimamanda, who is currently in Lagos, Nigeria, said: ‘I’m especially moved to be voted ‘Winner of Winners’ because this is the Prize that first brought a wide readership to my work and has also introduced me to the work of many talented writers.’ She will be presented with a silver edition of the Prize’s annual statuette, known as the ‘Bessie’, originally created and donated by the artist Grizel Niven.
