Hello everybody! We are very happy to announce that we will be reopening this Monday for the first time since we closed early this year. We really value Blue Heron open hours because they allow us to meet new people and share ideas, discussion, and build community. During this time especially, human connection is extremely important. We have therefore put some guidelines in place to allow us to interact in person (on Monday evenings only for now) while staying as safe as poss...ible. We ask that visitors help us by: - Not visiting when you are sick or when someone close to you is sick - Limiting to 5 people in the space at a time (including volunteers) - Wear a mask that covers the nose, mouth, and chin (we will have some on hand if you need one) - Use the hand sanitizer provided when you come in - Note that kitchenette use is restricted to volunteers only We hope to see you soon, and as always you can view our online catalogue here: librarything.com/catalog/blueheronbooks.

Thanks to all who came out to the book sale yesterday! It was so much fun and we sold so many great books that we are asking for book donations! If you have any you'd like to give away we'd be happy to take them--just let us know!
