Well the Covid 19 restrictions are finally lifted effective friday June 19th!! Book your fishing dates now. Several June dates available with more in July. Fish on !
How to almost land 2 salmon at once ! One was on the main line and the other was on the slider. Net the slider (rear) fish first then the main line fish. Everything went well until the slider fish shot out of the net as the lead fish was being netted. Shoulda used the big net !! Its hard to reel with a cell phone videotaping !
Good afternoon on Lake Huron out of Grand Bend. Caught these coho salmon as well as several Lake Trout. Hopefully chartering soon. #bluelinefishinggb
Here is the latest information I have about starting up Blue Line Fishing Charters for the season. At this minute and latest announcement, the Stage 2 opening of restaurants, personal car services, beaches, parks & camping, water recreational facilities, attractions & heritage institutions, outdoor recreational facilities etc. etc. DOES NOT APPLY to Lambton Shores (Grand Bend and Port Franks), but DOES APPLY to South Huron and Bluewater. Yes this is crazy - but Lambton Shor...es falls into the Lambton Public Health unit - and the province is being opened up by region according to health units. I will continue to keep you updated on when I can commence doing fishing charters out of Grand Bend and Port Franks. Hopefully soon ! Feel free to book a specific date with a deposit of $100 by etransfer, or wait to hear when charters begin in the next few weeks. Thanks for your patience.the fish are biting, and soon you will be catching them ! Capt. Fred Wondergem www.bluelinefishingcharters.com 519-318-1102 Here is a photo of last night's sunset...12 fish in the box !
Special thanks to Sam at the Growling Gator for letting me display my banner in a prime location in Grand Bend. Also thanks to Matt Dalton for taking time away from the South Korean National Hockey team to hold a 12 lbs rainbow and making it look like a 20 lbs bow ! #captfred #bluelinefishinggb #growlinggatorgrandbend
I have been getting a lot of emails and phone calls lately to book charters on Blue Line. I am sure people are eager to get out on the water to catch some fish on Lake Huron. I am constantly checking with the Ontario Sportfishing Guides Association and local government officials to clarify the number of people allowed per boat. Charter boat fishing should be permitted soon. I have been out searching for and finding fish. That way I'll know where fish are schooling when it comes time to take out customers! Heres a salmon I recently caught.
Getting ready for fishing charter season which will hopefully start soon. Heres one of a number of fish I was lucky enough to catch today near Kettle Point. Fishing is heating up. #bluelinefishinggb
Landed 5 fish today so the boss had salmon for supper. The turkey vultures are enjoying the left over parts!!
Well 4 salmon so far on Lake Huron today. Good water temps.
