This Lowden F-35 12 Fret Cutaway in East Indian Rosewood/Sitka Spruce is an absolute pleasure to hold in your arms (and the access provided by the cutaway is genius!) - but it's the deep bass that really caught our attention! The short scale neck makes it feel like a small body guitar but the tone tells you otherwise: very deep, full mids and with exceptional bass. Here's what the Lowden's have to say about this 12 Fret guitar: Based off of our existing F body shape, the 12 ...Fret features the same respective scale length (25.6") as its 14 fret equivalent. However, the bridge has been relocated and the soundbox uniquely voiced to create a guitar that offers something different to anything else in the Lowden range. The new location of the bridge on the soundboard increases the guitars mid-range punch and despite the more compact feel, the 12 Fret offers projection and vibrancy more akin to a guitar with a much larger body.
