It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas...everywhere you go! It has been awesome seeing everyone get into the Christmas spirit! I love seeing all the trees... go up. We have to outside decorated, and I will be working on the inside this week. These would certainly accent any house for Christmas! And that is a Monday! And we have another small business for you! Featured Business: SixpenceOddities Vintage This business is located in the beautiful Town of... Ingersoll, ON. I am so glad our paths have crossed. I enjoy talking with Melanie when we have a chance. Melanie describes herself as a thrifter and a yard sale junkie, who is on a mission to save pieces to get them into the hands that appreciate them. She definitely finds some very unique pieces on her travels. She recently went adventuring on an abandoned farm and found some really nice items from the past! Who wouldn’t like to see an abandoned place and it’s contents? q She displays her finds and travels on her Facebook, Instagram and Etsy accounts. Most recently, she also can be found at Louis Lime Vintage Design & Decor on Saturdays minding the shop and displaying her treasures there. I had a really hard time posting for this one! But when you have over 40 unique Canadian vendors under one roof, you want to display everything! Featured Busin...ess: Artizan Alley If you have never met the owner Shanon, (former owner of Born In A Barn) you should! He has an amazing store that showcases as mentioned, over 40 vendors. He also builds unique creations of his own. His store is very welcoming and worth the drive, as you never know what you might find. There is everything from antique and vintage items to handmade and recycled items. He even has a great collection of Christmas decor for sale at the store. He is currently taking orders for customized Christmas crates! What a great way to deliver items this Christmas and for years to come. Ann’s move back to her roots inspired the name. With the transition of moving home - building, designing and decorating- Ann discovered her love for the country style. Together (after persuading her husband) they began designing, building and country decor that accents anyone’s home. You can find wooden serving trays, lazy Susan trays, dinner/coffee table trays, clocks, pillows, aprons wine totes and they are always adding. They also offer small group classes.
