Orange Shirt Day - Sept 30, 2020. - Every Child Matters.

St. George's, The Parish of the Blue Mountains 18.09.2020

Midday with Gray is part of the "Church Beyond Our Doors" outreach ministry of St. George's, The Anglican Parish of The Blue Mountains. Today the Rev'd Dr. Grayhame Bowcott explores the Holy Day of St. Michael and All Angels through a little teaching on biblical passages that talk about angels, through a time of reflection on the role of angels as divine messengers and in the sharing of prayers for our community and those we are called to serve. We hope that this time of prayer is a blessing to you and that God and God's angels may watch over you in your life. https://youtu.be/D7WDYnVOiTE

Join the Reverend Grayhame Bowcott in this Celtic service of prayer on the evening of Friday September 25, 2020. Relax into God's presence as we worship in community; commemorating St. Sergius, hearing and reflecting on the Word, and praying to our Lord and Creator. This is part of our "Church Beyond Our Doors" outreach ministry at St. George's, the Anglican Parish of the Blue Mountains. Messy Church is part of the "Church Beyond Our Doors" outreach ministry of St. George's, The Anglican Parish of The Blue Mountains, Ontario. This broadcast is especially designed for our youngest members. Pastor to Youth, Loriena Forsythe, invites them to join her in a time of Bible stories, crafts, humour and relationship. Pastor Rena loves staying in touch with our kids and helping them to feel connected to our community and letting them know how much God loves them! September 20, 2020 Services You may have seen the news release this morning limiting private gatherings to 10 people province-wide and was left thinking, "Well, what about service tomorrow?" The restriction does not apply to churches, so we're thrilled to say that we are still on for service tomorrow at 8 am and 10am. Although the newest restriction does not apply to churches, the safety of our St. George's family remains of utmost importance. As with last week, social dist...ancing and face coverings will continue to be used. The front doors will open 15 minutes prior to each service, you will be registered by one of our wonderful wardens, and then shown to your seat by another amazing warden. After each service, parishioners will leave the building from the indicated exit. See you tomorrow!! Your St. George's Team

Prayers for all parishes entering their first in-person worship in six months. You have worked hard to make our sacred spaces as safe as possible. In the midst of social distancing, masks, no singing, and other changes - may all know the presence of Christ in your midst!
