Congratulations to the proud new owner of Le Noir Linus. Linus has been patiently waiting to find his very own person and he’s thrilled to have found such an experienced new owner who will do both dressage and jumping with him. The Blueridge class of 2019 is now officially all sold to fabulous new homes. We do have 3 exciting foals coming in 2021 as well as 2 under saddle horses which will be available to new homes soon.

Blueridge broodmare profile #2 Blueridge Fortuna Tuna. Tuna is a 2nd generation Blueridge homebred by the Hanoverian stallion of the year Belissimo M and out of Forte (Freestyle/Wolkenstein II/Arkansas). This 2010 Oldenburg registered mare is a top class sport horse winning Training Level Open champion at her first horse show with scores as high as 80%! She has since then won many classes and achieved high scores including winning Third Level Open Champion at her last show. Tuna is the whole package, 3 excellent basic gaits with a particularly good canter, beauty, calm mind and excellent rideability. She is in foal to Wynton for her first foal, due May 2021 and will return to the show ring after this foal is weaned.

Gratuitous stealing of an idea from other breeders... I will be doing a detailed feature of each one of my broodmares on my FB page. And who else could I possibly start with but the grand dame of them all, Forte. Forte was the first foal I ever bred. Born in 2005 in Langley, BC she made several major moves with me, first to Ottawa and then to the Blue Mountains. A Canadian Warmblood mare by Freestyle out of Wolkenstar (Wolkenstein II/Arkansas/Abrupt), Forte was presented to t...he German Oldenburg Verband and entered into the Main Mare Book. In 2010 she produced Fortuna by Belissimo M who is already a champion at Third Level and in 2019 a colt by Vitalis who was sold to a professional. Forte competed in dressage up to a Fourth Level in venues on both sides of the country from Thunderbird Showpark in Langley , to Caledon Equestrian Park in Palgrave, Ontario. While pregnant with her Vitalis colt she schooled PSG with me while showing my good friend Christine the ropes of showing dressage at Training Level. Somehow with all that she still managed to cart me through jumping lessons, eventing clinics and even a little schooling event at Pre Entry Level. After losing her foal in 2020, Forte is expecting a Zhivago baby in 2021. This foal will be greatly anticipated by everyone here at Blueridge. See more

Forte (Freestyle/Wolkenstein II/Arkansas) to Rocky Lee Ilse (Charmeur/Flemmingh/Le Mexico) to For Gold... Sita (Sandro Hit/ Fidermark/Rosier) to Ellis London Reign (Londonderry/Rosentau/Arkansas) to Vaderland Not actually my breeding, but I am also excited to have under contract, a custom foal from Formosus Sporhorse’s amazing mare Zigami (Zack/Florestan/Ferragamo) to Knock Out. Can hardly wait til 2022 to meet these amazing foals!

Eamonn has extensive show miles in both eventing and dressage but would be prefer to be in a straight dressage home. Has shown Training Level dressage with a junior rider with scores in the mid 70s. Now in professional dressage training and well trained up to the 2nd level with a basic understanding of flying changes. Eamonn would suit a ambitious junior or experienced amateur who wants to learn the ropes in dressage or move up the levels. Congratulations Susan C. on the purchase of Savannah (now known as Willa)! Savannah has been in training at Blueridge with her owner for several years now and I’m thrilled that she has a wonderful new home where she can teach her new human all the dressage things. We’ll miss you girl!
