Good first quick trip in the boat! Ran into a little ice that slowed us down but that didnt stop us. Stay safe out there and watch for ice there is still a lot of day ruiners floating out there.

Well its official I spent some time in the water today rescued some other trainees did several self-rescues and became a certified ice rescue technician. It was a great experience that I highly recommend for anyone seriously into ice fishing.

And that's a wrap! This years season of guided ice fishing trips were done before they started. Everyone booked has been contacted and hopefully by April/May we can get some of you out in the boat. Now booking with no deposit required for Spring trips.

I know its still "summer" but the reality is sinking in quick that winter is coming. 2021 rates and my conservative available dates for Quinte ice fishing trips are up for booking. There are a very limited number of weekend dates so reserve early.

Change of plans today just went out for a little fun fish. Bonked a couple gators on the head for dinner tmrw too.

Fun day on quinte! We lost a beauty eye at the boat, got some real chunky pike and gave the kids a good workout bringing in some drag peeling tank drum.

Matt and I had a little smallmouth beat down today. After covering a ton of water and getting a few "smaller" fish, we found some nicer fish in the heat of the afternoon that were willing to play.

Couple nice eaters! Somehow water temps have skyrocketed and we saw water temps high as 78 yesterday on Quinte. Get your swim on folks, it's Maugust. Fish will be coming in precooked while hooked soon.

Thats right! I'm on tick tok. Lip Syncing coming next, but for now I thought I'd share some cool footage of the bass currently spawning at the end of my dock. A couple days ago the bigger female layed the eggs and now shes hanging on the outer perimeter and this male has been protecting it from shiners, sunfish, rock bass and even a mudcat ever since.
