Day 6 of Injections: Yesterday we added a third to the mix & head down to Toronto Wednesday around 2 am to make the 7 am ultrasound and bloodwork appointment then all the way back home in the same day. We should hear in the afternoon if they want to see us Friday morning. My partner can’t seem to get Thursday off anyways so it’s looking like we just have to go back down Friday if that’s the case and maybe stay down for the weekend if they want us back for Sunday to do the... egg retrial. So as for the needles; the first day I was so exhausted, second I had an all day pressure headache, third day was fine, fourth day another pressure headache and for a moment I felt a little impatient to say the least . I never seem to ever really feel that cray-cray on these meds but some days are better then others and these new higher doses have proven to be a bit more potent. My tummy has a few bruises, one needle is super easy the other two sting a bit and the needles are not as shape so you have to go into it a bit more forceful to get the job done. Other than that all is well and I am still standing! Excited to be here and hoping this cycle does not get canceled due to the new restrictions in Toronto. Fingers crossed

Our IVF Adventure Update: Tonight we start the injections & I have my litte helper eager to learn and be a part of this journey. She came with us to do our bloodwork last week (literally held my hand as per her request) and sat with me last week for my nurses appointment to go over how to use the needles.
