While tempting to call BlueSpark an oilfield technology, it really is an energy technology. To prove that point, we are embarking upon our first Geothermal project in Q2 2021. Geothermal energy has been in use by humans for over 2000 years, primarily as a heating source. Today Geothermal energy is being used to heat and power the electrical grids of many countries. One of the key sustainability issues surrounding Geothermal energy is the need to continually pump water into the reservoir. Enter Blue Spark!

A long, long, long time ago there were giant animals that roamed the world. Along came global freezing, a meteor or something equally catastrophic, and wiped out all of the dinosaurs. Another meteoric event is happening - the growth of Blue Spark Energy. Our pulsed power technology has the ability to replace chemical programs in oil & gas well interventions. Chemicals just might be the next dinosaur!

What a difference a year makes! Last year at this time, Laura joined us as the pandemic panic was swirling and was unable to witness a live demonstration of our BlueSpark technology. One year later, as Sarah joins us, we show both Sarah and Laura the +200MW demonstration. Note after 1 year of being on the BSE team, Laura has developed nerves of steel.

Here at Blue Spark we are proud of our technology but more importantly, we are proud of our committed team. It has been awesome watching this young man come so far in the past few years with his passion and drive for BMX racing. We flew our tools out by chopper to the Noble Sam Turner rig for Total Denmark. We received the call Thursday of last week, we mobilized our Engineer and tools same day and they were all on the rig around lunch time Friday. Great teamwork by BSE, Total and Altus Intervention Denmark. This is the first time we have sent the tools by chopper - WASPs inside choppers aren't always a bad thing!!! #inspiringenergeticchange

2019 Calgary Corporate Challenge kicked off this morning with the opening ceremonies, we were able to get all but 15 stickers for the Game Board Challenge. Not bad for the three of us attending. Blue Spark strikes again! Though far from routine, our FIRST well in Malaysia was a success! Screens, tractors, offshore - our Blair Scanland conquered it all to complete the job with initial results showing a +50% improvement in production on the well!

Blue Spark's 7-Year Bobblehead club is growing! Joining Todd Parker and Marci Hamilton this past quarter are Blair Scanland, Ryan Semeniuk and Stephanie Ledingham. This core team has seen the WASP developed and then deployed in Canada, USA, Iraq, Norway, Denmark, UK, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, Oman and most recently Equatorial Guinea. Added in along the way are the Canadian Oil & Gas Awards and a World Oil Award, that's a pretty exciting seven years.
