I was in the market for a new wireless meat thermometer for my grill and smoker. I ended up selecting the AT-01. I chose this model as it lets you connect it directly to the grill or smoker and also comes with two probes. This provides you with three different temperatures (unit and two probes). The unit was easy to assemble and required two AAA batteries (not included). The main unit is designed to replace the manual thermometer on your grill or smoker. The box came with a u...ser guide, base unit, two temperature probes with holders, and a very durable heat shield to project the unit from melting while up against the hot grill. The two probes are color coded and match up to the app you download to your phone. The thermometer unit is designed to be used with their app. The app was easy to use and allows you to have presets for different types of food. The proboes have two heat resistant beads (one for each end) that allow you to easily tell them apart which is very useful. The colors match up to the app. The temperatures of the base unit and two probes were very accurate when compared to other calibrated thermometers on hand. I’m pretty impressed with the unit after using it on the grill and look forward to using it on the smoker. I may have to make a slight modification to use the base unit on the smoker and may end up just using the two probes. The AT0-01 looks impressive on the grill and I am very happy with it.
