Here we grow again! Help us give people the confidence and skills they need to save lives! We are looking for a part-time / full-time (20-35 hours per week) enthusiastic instructor to deliver Red Cross First Aid and CPR, and other Health & Safety courses within the Sarnia Lambton area. Bluewater First Aid Training Centre Inc. prides itself on consistently receiving outstanding reviews of our instructors and the courses they provide. Experience of delivering First Aid and CPR... courses would be preferred. If not currently certified with the Red Cross or (i.e. Heart and Stroke, St. Johns Ambulance) you must be willing to take a bridging course. Training would provided to the ideal candidate upon hiring. Enthusiasm to work with different groups of professionals and the flexibility to present the material in a way that is relevant to the specific group they are teaching. Creativity in their preparation and delivery of a highly interactive course that will engage participants as well as building their self-confidence to apply the skills they have learned. A willingness to self-evaluate, share techniques and constantly improve. Willingness to work some weekends is a necessity as our courses are offered seven days per week. Access to a car and a driver's license as well as the ability to take training equipment to and from courses is an asset requirement. Willingness to travel to various sites to deliver courses which may be presented outside of our office. Would everyone like to share this once please. It indicates that the person wearing it is deaf or hard of hearing and in some cases wears a hearing aid. In thes...e times (when wearing mouth masks) it is impossible to lip-read, which makes it extra difficult. There is little point in wearing the sign if half the people don't know what it means.
