UHM WOON KYU(1929-2017), The 9th President of Kukkiwon(2004-2009) He was the first generation of Taekwondo and served as Kwanjang(Great Grandmaster) of the Chun...gdo KWAN. He played a large part in the formation and development of the Korea Taekwondo Association (KTA), the Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo Headquarters), and the World Taekwondo. Unfortunately, he was stepped down from Kukkiwon president in disgrace.
