Blyth and Brussels United Churches 10.12.2020

https://brusselsandblythuc.ca//second-sunday-of-advent-de/ Join us for worship this Sunday, led by Alex Jebson, under the musical direction of Glenda Morrison. Many thanks to the musicians and the Burkholder family for their participation in the service. On this Second Sunday of Advent, we explore the promise of peace and comfort that God offers and embodies. We discern where comfort and peace is needed most this season, and from where the call to peace is offered.

https://brusselsandblythuc.ca//first-sunday-of-advent-nov/ Join us for worship this Sunday, led by Alex Jebson, under the musical direction of Katie Dockstader and Marilyn Scott. Many thanks to Cappy, Barb, and Terry for their participation in this service. On this First Sunday of Advent, the beginning of the Church year, we focus on hope. We acknowledge the situations from which hope arises, and the God who embodies and delivers hope in a variety of ways.

https://brusselsandblythuc.ca//reign-of-christ-sunday-nov/ Join us for worship this Sunday, led by Alex Jebson, under the musical direction of Glenda Morrison. Many thanks to the musicians and to Betty for their contributions to this worship experience. Reign of Christ Sunday, the last Sunday in the Church calendar, is a chance for us to reflect on Christ’s presence and guidance we have experienced throughout this unanticipated year.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hFnfNDAdtOY Please watch the latest video on our Youtube page, which contains announcements regarding upcoming Advent activities for our congregations, and an update on the Spiritual Growth Team's continuing discernment regarding in-sanctuary worship. Although we will not be in our sanctuaries this Advent, we can still share in the hope and anticipation of the season. To download a print version of this announcement, and to check out all the other goings on in our congregations, check out our website: https://brusselsandblythuc.ca///advent-2020-announcements/

Join us for worship this Sunday, led by Alex Jebson, under the music direction of Katie Dockstader and Marilyn Scott. Many thanks to the youth of our congregations, as well as Jean-Luc, John, and Cappy, for all their contributions. Today, we are called to reflect on our discipleship, as well as the discipleship of others, particularly the young people in our midst. Let's discern together how to stay awake in our faith, and feed of each others' creativity and earnestness. https://brusselsandblythuc.ca//childrens-sunday-november-/

Check out the latest post on our website to discover how you can donate this year to the Huron County Christmas Bureau. This initiative, supported by many in both our congregations, is asking for financial donations this year, due to pandemic restrictions. https://brusselsandblythuc.ca//huron-county-christmas-bur/
