Week 3 of Wild School.... and what a week it was. The students adventured through the rainy weather we had this past week, they honoured Orange Shirt Day, participated in a Terry Fox Run, all well giving time and dedication to their learning! This weather made this week challenging, but the students all persevered well! There’s no such thing as bad weather- only the wrong attitude

Today at Wild School, we acknowledged Orange Shirt Day. Today was one of the many days to remember and recognize the legacy of Residential Schools. We engaged in meaningful discussion, participated in land acknowledgements, and had many organic reflective moments. #everychildmatters

And that is a wrap for Week 2 of Wild School! Students spent their week connecting with the ground below them, creating their outdoor classroom, learning all that nature has to offer, and enjoying the great outdoors. It was an absolute gorgeous week, and students got the great opportunity to experience the Autumn Equinox! Bring on Week 3 .

What a great first week at Wild School! Students had the opportunity to get familiar with fellow classmates and our living curriculum, participate in lots of organic learning, explore their creative side by doing some journaling in the woods, and ended their week with Bushcraft. This week for Bushcraft, students learned basic survival skills while being in the wilderness! Bring on week 2
