MEMBER HIGHLIGHT! Emma Wood holds our photography chair. Emma is a published photographer, certified makeup artist and two-time award winning entrepreneur with one missionto empower women through photography, fashion and friends.... Pretty as a Picture Photography (her firstborn business-baby) was the start of this mission...9 years ago...her first year in Canada. Emma believes that EVERYbody is beautiful and it is her passion and purpose to help you find comfort in being YOU, and to remind you that your body should be celebrated everyday! Our meetings are back in session for 2021 and our Vice President, Deanalee Dressler, let us know how we did as a chapter during 2020. A lot of things transpired over the year including our dedication to each other. 1-2-1's: 1442 1-2-1's are simply put, it's a meeting, in person but lately over zoom, between two BNI members (or even prospective members) to deepen the understanding between them in order to foster a better business relationship.... Chapter Education Units: 535 One of BNI's core values is continuing education. This is tracked by members istening to podcasts, reading a BNI or business improvement book, or attending a webinar or virtual training. Visitors: 58 We moved online this year but still had a chance to welcome, meet, and exchange with visitors. Our chapter even grew by a few members. Referrals: 770 We worked hard for these last year with all the shut downs. Building a referral-based business is all about building a powerful, personal network. Thank You For Closed Business: $866 763 We track this information to make sure the referrals we put in are translating into closed business. It also acknowledges the hard work others do for you when we thank them. We are looking forward to finding more success in 2021.
