Hiya all my wonderful couples, families, branding clients, and everyone in between! Just a quick note to let you all know that I am working very hard to get everyone’s photos done as fast as possible without compromising quality! We have basically squeezed an 8-month season into 2.5 months and I’m only now starting to breathe a little in between the weddings, sessions, editing, and life! Just finished my last wedding of the season (okay I’m lying I have one more in December but technically the wonderful Gillian Toronto Photographer] is capturing it on my behalf) but this is the last one for me by me! And it feels really great! Ended on a high note - wonderful couple, wonderful venue, INCREDIBLE team! I am so grateful tonight! (That being said, I am still booking family sessions and branding sessions in case anyone is interestedyou know I have to ask! ) But that is it for me for now in terms of nuptials feels kinda weird but also kinda great! Just felt like sharing cuz

First day of spring!!! Yes this is how excited I am! It’s a pandemic, this level of excitement for a season change is completely validated - don’t pretend like I’m the only weirdo out there! I know you all wanna throw some confetti!? Am I right!?

Ugh. I can’t wait to creep cute couples in restaurants! . . . (That came out wrong - but oh so right!)

It’s St. Patrick’s Day and because we lived in Ireland and named our son after one of the greatest cities in the world (Dublin) I feel that it’s my duty to post of a photo with something fun and green in it. So here it is: me (fun) in a super amazing 80’s snowsuit (green)! Happy St. Patrick’s Day lovers!

Ever since I could remember I have been a collector. Whether it be books, clothes, magazines, scrapbook inspirations, the list goes on...I love surrounding myself with beautiful objects that have a history or tell a story. Lately I feel a little old school, with minimalism being a huge thing and all. But the heart wants what the heart wants, and as much as I try, I can't help but be a collector. The one big upside to this? I have so many cool things to use for flatlays for my clients (and for myself!) Sifting through all my treasures, matching them up with the different personalities of my clients, is so much fun and so inspiring! . What do you collect?

Anyone else missing getting all dolled up? I propose a city-wide party when this is all over? Anyone with me?!?

As a photographer, I am forever capturing memories for couples, families & business owners. I have hard-drives upon hard-drives of immortalized moments, special occasions, and moments in time. It is as an absolute privilege to be trusted to document other people's most precious memories , and I am so grateful for what I do. . As a documentarist, it is my job to capture moments in time, but as a photographer it is always amazing to see your work recognized as art. That being ...said, this year I was delighted to have an image included among a group of incredibly talented photographers in the @theloveactuallycollection . The exhibit, which focuses on raw & candid moments in weddings, is a beautiful collection from local photographers curated by @scarletoneill . This year's virtual exhibit was a true reflection of the massive shift we, as photographers, have experienced in the wedding industry as a result of the pandemic. It's been a very tough year, but the incredible photos in @theloveactuallycollection truly demonstare that Love Is NOT Cancelled! . I have driven by the Love me till I’m me again installation numerous times & it always evoked such a strong emotional reaction. Especially during the pandemic, which has been so difficult for all photographers, it really resonated. I knew that I needed to incorporate it into a wedding, especially a wedding that was impacted by the virus. I envisioned it as the backdrop for a couple & Glynnis & Alan’s energy, as well as their edgy urban vibe (G wore a custom-made white jumpsuit!) was perfect.
