Performances will include a reading by Karen Houle from her essay Re(Meditations) on Earth, Poetry, Care and Labour and a series of poetry and text readings by ReMediate artists Anna Bowen and Christina Kingsbury. ReMediate is on view at Boarding House Gallery until Saturday, July 23. You're invited to the ReMediate book launch and reception at Boarding House Gallery on Saturday at 2 pm. The artists will be in attendance. Adorn your bookshelf with a Standard or Special Artist's Edition copy of ReMediate, printed locally by Publication Studio Guelph! ReMediate, by Christina Kingsbury and Anna Bowen, is a catalogue/poetry collection that documents the ReMediate exhibition through colour photos, video stills, and poetry. The publication includes poetry by Anna Bowen, an essay by poet-philosopher Karen Houle, "Re(Meditations) on Earth, Poetry, Care and Labour," as well as an introduction by Dawn Owen, Curator of Contemporary Art (AGG).
