Update - Father Hughie D - discharged from St Martha’s Hospital and now at Port Hawkesbury Nursing Home - Hughie D seems to be very comfortable. Peggy Burke saw him last evening and had a very positive day. He has a private room, has his television and is seeing visitors regularly. All is going very well and he seems to be happy with the accommodations there. He just seems to roll with the punches and accepts whatever is presented to him. He is not disinterested but has a very positive outlook framing the present with the past (his life) and the future that he is looking forward to. He is peacefully at ease. Lucky guy.

Visit with Father Hughie D today. He is still at St Martha’s but doing very well. Great care there for him. His nurse Sheila, is from Iona and like she said, Everyone knows Father Hughie D !!
