He hosts, he sings, he’s an interviewer, a streamer, a gamer, Extra-Life video game ambassador, North American Children Miracle Network champion, and he is an ambassador to Opération Enfant Soleil. He is also an ambassador to l’Excellence Jeunesse at the Montreal Children’s Hospital, a spokesperson for the Charles-Bruneau foundation, a devoted partner to Wal Mart Canada and to the Ferrari Club of America. Jean-Gilles is presently training at l’École Jean-Jacques Bertrand in the creative horizon program in the following disciplines : cinematography, lighting, infographics, video and multimedia, wardrobe creation and artistic design. He has been elected as the communication representative at the Jean-Jacques Bertrand school encompassing secondary 1 to secondary 5 students. Singing lessons provide much enjoyment for him. Tinight’s guest is presently being trained in three languages: French, English, and Italian, plays guitar, piano and drums. Jean-Gilles played in Juste Pour Rire Gags, radio and tv commercials; notably a radio commercial in which he shared the spotlight with NHL hockey player PK Subban. He has held roles in movies, one of which was presented at the Cannes Film Festival. Jean-Gilles was involved in some 30 fundraisers geared to helping sick children. The last event he was involved in raised $22,000.00 by playing video games with his friends. Our guest fought off two bouts of cancer and received two bone marrow transplants. It is a miracle that he is still among us. For the past 4 and a half years he has been in remission. He has received an award for his great resilience in the USA. Both his bouts with cancer have taught Jean_Gilles to live his life to the fullest.

You can watch his performance right here. Was he nervous? Yes I was, knowing I had all these people watching me and the camera on me in a big stadium, he responded. I had to stay focused. I felt my heart jumping out of my chest. I was trying to control all these feelings to be able to sing. Having attended training sessions in the Big Apple and getting a taste for the opportunities available there, Alessandro also was the first Canadian offered this amazing opportunity. His mom Connie Rotella, a singer and dancer herself and co-owner of Danse 1..2..3 on Newman Boulevard is no stranger to show business. Alessandro played the role of Michael Banks in Juste Pour Rire’s French language production of Mary Poppins, working alongside René Simard and Serge Postigo. He also starred in the Canadian original musical of The Hockey Sweater based on Roch Carrier’s story book at the Segal Centre. Over the years he has performed in over 100 shows, along with numerous television appearances. The Heart of Life, in fact, was based upon his personal story. At only three days old he underwent open heart surgery. Thus began his powerful fight for life. A lover of big musicals, Alessandro’s big goal is to tell stories on the Broadway stage. He trains no less than 10 hours a week in dance, voice, acting at his mom’s triple threat studio while attending school and working in the professional field. For now Canada is where he aspires to solidify his roots and foundation by building dreams of also becoming a writer and drawing his own stories - For YouTubers, tune in here: https://youtu.be/067C9noseKU
