It has been interesting to watch proponents of green energy in the United States vigorously defending renewables despite their obvious failure in the Texas blackouts debacle. I've long realized the world’s demand for energy will require both renewables and hydrocarbons to satisfy. We will need energy from all available sources. But renewables can be unreliable, so we depend on hydrocarbons when they don’t work. Despite this, the 'renewables only' crowd often want to shut the ...other side out.
