Daylight Saving Time begins this weekend Update the Family fire escape plan and practice a fire drill. Check your emergency preparedness and First Aid kit and update/replace any items if needed.... Replace all batteries for any and all detectors in your home. Replace/inspect fire extinguisher in the kitchen, garage or other locations and of your home. Check your flashlights and replace any batteries if required. It’s a good idea to keep a flashlight on each level of your home for easy access. Rotate your worrdrobe for the new Spring and Summer season. Take time for Spring cleaning in areas such as garages, backyards and other areas of your home. Wash and clean rugs and carpets. Clean window coverings such as drapes or California shutters etc. Deep clean attics, basements and other areas of your home that may need decluttering.
