A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported my re-election and to everyone who took the time to vote in our municipal election for their candidate of choice! This was democracy in action and your votes made the difference in how the next four years will unfold. Thank you to all candidates who took on the commitment of the time and effort it takes to run an election campaign. To those that didn't quite make it this time, there's always next time. And in the meantime, ...keep involved, join committees, and participate. We need you! I'm looking forward to working with the new council and together achieving great things for both rural and urban Port Hope during the upcoming term! #PortHope #PortHopeOntario #PortHopeElection #PortHopePolitics #BelieveTogether

The short answers are that I have never indicated that there would be "no problem" for Southbridge and I do not believe anyone else had indicated that to them either. There have been no closed sessions with Southbridge and all meetings have been documented. ...Continue reading

Great time this morning at the grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony of "The Hub" in Canton! A large turnout enjoyed touring The Hub and its collection of books, magazines, internet areas, meeting spaces, and children's activities including a LEGO wall! Thanks to our local MPP David Piccini for joining us! #PortHope #PortHopeOntario #DavidPiccini #CantonHub #TheHub
