BYI - HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS The Kapuskasing Golf Club (KGC) and the Bob Young Invitational (BYI) committee take the health and safety of all golfers, patrons and employees seriously. Below are the health and safety protocols that are currently in-place at the KGC and/or have been added for the BYI tournament. Face Covering... Mandatory face covering inside the clubhouse You must be seated when eating or drinking in the lounge Face coverings may only be removed when seated The above does not apply outdoors Gathering Limits We will not be having a steak supper this year. The BYI committee believes that it is the best approach to keep everyone safe as well as make it easier to respect the gathering limits. We are putting a strong emphasis that this year’s tournament is for participating golfers. Spouses, friends and members will be permitted to attend. However, if there is a threat that we will surpass the gathering limits, individuals having less ties to the tournament (in this order - friends, family, non-participating members, etc.) will be politely asked to leave the premise. We thank you in advance for your understanding. The gathering limits are as follows: 50 people indoor 100 people outdoor Combined limit = 100 people Physical Distancing Respect the physical distancing of two (2) metres between people from different households Tables and chairs will be placed two (2) metres apart in the lounge and outdoors Physical distancing must also be respected on benches and grandstands Golf Course Do not touch the pins/flagsticks. They must also remain in the hole The use of rakes in the bunker is optional Other Practice good hand hygiene throughout the tournament Hand washing stations will be installed in various locations Tables, chairs & high contact point areas will be disinfected frequently We ask you to respect the safety protocols in-place so that we have a safe tournament. In addition, respecting all the above will prevent unwanted situations where employees will have to remind you of the health and safety protocols in place.
