Striving for Independence is the motto of the Bockman Foundation and this week, the Bockman Foundation had the privilege of presenting cheques to two young men with Spinal cord injuries, thus enabling them to gain more independence. For one gentleman the money went to help cover costs of vehicle modifications and for the other gentleman the money will help with the purchase of a wheelchair power assist device. We thank everyone who has donated to the Bockman Foundation for Spinal Cord Injuries.

We were honoured to have so many people show up for today’s race especially Neil and team Laidlaw. Neil is a paraplegic whose goal was to walk 1km, made possible by the use of his leg braces and walker. Despite the weather Neil accomplished his goal today!! Thank you to everyone who came out today and/or supported us! Thank you to the running room, DQ, Cora’s, our MLA’s, our volunteers and participants for your continued support! Thank you from the Bockman Foundation for spinal cord injury, making it possible for us to support those striving for independence!!
