I had a late night ! Just Wilbur and I stayed up to watch the ball drop. Pretty uneventful really . Then went up to bed and struggled with my CPAP nasal pillows a bit. Yep I have moderate sleep apnea. It was Night 3 last night. I think we are a family of snorers. Anyway, Night 1 took about an hour or so getting used to the air flow and being tied to it essentially. Had a few good spells of sleep but didn’t wake up feeling like Superwoman or had boundless energy.... Had a headache the day before and the headache didn’t go away until yesterday. Night 2 had a pretty decent sleep actually had some pretty vivid and multiple dreams. Night 3 (last night) wasn’t good. The nasal pillows weren’t sitting right and every time I changed positions I had to fix them up again. Didn’t have that problem the first two nights. Anywhooooo....I don’t have a big appetite right now and thought...What a perfect time to get back on the wagon! So, all of this plus water and ice blended up into this thick blend of yummy I’ve missed it. I’ve added Digestive Health to it as wellTMI but I suffer with IBS-Cand also added Collagen because well it’s good for us. I used to have a pouch of marine collagen but switching to this now that I’m finished the other one. Bottoms up ! See more

I have been sleeping a lot better lately with the help of a sleep spray from my friend. I can give you more information on that if you like and you can reach out to her. BUT I haven't been sleeping as well as I should. Here's why! I clench my teeth so much while I do sleep that I actually bite THROUGH my mouth guard. So headaches and cracked teeth syndrome. I know this "clenching" is caused by stress. What stress? I can't pin it down really otherwise I would work on re...ducing it. Mental and emotional health is just as important as our physical health right? If our mental / emotional health declines it has a direct affect on our physical well-being as well. My goal is to somehow reduce this stress when I sleep. I'll tell you the ONE thing I'll be incorporating into my life more and more to help me reach this. I wanted to reach out today to pass along what I hope will resonate with you. We all have goals--we may not actually sit down and visualize them or talk about the--but we ALL have them. Whether it has to do with your health or it has to do with what you want out of life. How you work towards those goals is another matter. Sometimes they're unrealized because they seem too unattainable...so big. Let's bring this to perhaps a weight-loss goal, or just being healthier. Where do you start?? Start by doing ONE thing. Maybe 5-10 minutes of just being active, maybe stretching? Going for a short walk? Maybe that ONE thing is just increasing how much water you drink today? You can reach your goal...it takes consistent progress towards it though. So what is your ONE thing that you'll be doing TODAY that gets you just a smidge closer to your goal? My one thing is to practice Yoga Nidra more often before I go to sleep.
