Lesley and I stopped to check out Totally Reptiles/The Tropical Fish Room here in Brantford!! Faith was nice enough to introduce us to all the animals!! Refreshing to see a a Pet Store that are very knowledgeable as far as keeping reptiles!! Their husbandry is great....and I didn't hear a single bit of misinformation!!! Unlike visiting "big box" pet stores like Pet Smart, ect. I LOVE this Savanah Monitor!!

It's amazing how fast Ball Pythons grow!! Gavin got his Pastel 1 year ago....after recording this, we looked through records, and Ryuko weighed 73 grams when he got her!! Ryuko is now 563.5 grams!!! In 1 year she gained 490.5 grams!!! We used a baby that I figured would be close to her size for reference...I was 3 grams off!! This little one is 70 grams on the dot!! She is a third of the way to breeding weight!! Although, I myself would prefer a female to be at least 1800 grams before even thinking of breeding!! Shes an amazing girl, and very gentle, and well tempered.....but come feeding time....her "food mode" response is ruthless!!

I think we've figured out our first main project to pair Our female Kingpin to our male Jigsaw!! Look at those possibilities!!! Even just one Blue Eyed Leusistic(Lucy) aka BEL would be amazing!!!!

Our Male and Female Yellow Belly's are locked!! Hopefully we can hit the "Super" version of the YB gene, and produce an Ivory, which is a pure white animal!! Tis the season!!
