Body Shop Training 21.12.2020

Inching up on 5 weeks post baby & the okay from my midwife means I can start getting into some workouts at home My excitement for getting back into a fitness routine has less to do with weight loss or getting my pre baby body back , and more to help me feel like myself. One of the biggest lessons I learned during my postpartum period with Georgia is that taking time for yourself is SO important! It’s really easy to lose yourself when baby comes and becomes your whole worl...d- I really want to make sure this time around I make myself a priority I was happy to get in about 30 mins of moving! I worked on a timer to help me be as efficient as possible! My split was 30s/15s/6/1m/4 rounds (anyone following my 6 week plan will understand that ) Round 1- Bent Row & Front Squats Round 2- Sit ups & Hip press Round 3- Plank & Deadlifts Round 4- Bicep Curl to Press & Front Raise Hold Finished with 10 BW squats, 20 calf raises, 40 alt step ups for 3 rounds! (I used my stair case for this) I’ve been getting messages the last week or so that some of my ladies are finished the 6 week home program! I love hearing that!! I’d love to see you guys go round 2 with it if you’re done, it would be a great way to see how much you’ve improved since round 1. Also, give this workout a try if your feeling like a quick full body sweat

Today’s my due date and I’m feeling unusually not tired so I decided to do a little 40 week workout. For the past 5 weeks my activity has not been anything extra than keeping up with Georgia, working and cleaning my house and that’s okay! Swipe to see what I did, and a side note for anyone who recognizes these movements this was veryyyyy modified!! All together this took me roughly 30 mins. My rest time between sets at the beginning of the workout was much shorter than the rests at the end. I’m proud and a wee bit surprised I made it through the whole thing. Hey guys it’s me, still pregnant- just popping in to wish you a happy belated holiday season. I hope everyone felt the love and magic that this time of year brings. Usually I’d be gearing up to double my work load with clients anxious to start their New Years health and fitness resolutions. This year obviously is different for me as I gear up to become a mom of two I hope whatever your resolutions for 2020 are, you always remember to be gracious with yourself and grateful... for all the amazing things your body can do. I know I need reminded of this sometimes myself. As hard as it sometimes is to see the stretch marks and to have 2 pairs of pants that fit, my body is doing exactly what it’s supposed to. I’m looking forward to getting back into a routine and back to a level of fitness I know and love. I will get there, eventually. Where ever you are in your fitness I hope that you can celebrate every accomplishment big or small, you never give up on the body that doesn’t give up on you, and you never ever ever place your worth in what the scale says.
