My BIGGEST lesson this year I’ve learned several things during the past few months amidst a global pandemic and being isolated in my 1-bedroom apartment by myself. I’ve learned that I enjoy eating out far better than cooking. I’ve learned that I miss spending time with friends and family more than I realized. I’ve also learned that it really does take a community to make a big difference in the world. . But what’s the most important thing that I learned? .... I learned to walk away from all that no longer serves you. . This pandemic has taught us to expect the unexpected and that life is too short to be stuck in limiting patterns. When the world seems to fall apart we forget our desire for material goods. Whereas, instead we remember our innate need for love, connection and beautiful little moments. . This time has been a reminder that we deserve more than toxic relationships, unfulfilling jobs and damaging mindsets. We deserve connection, peace, harmony and love. . We can CHOOSE to break free from this lonely life and create a reality that inspires us. We can choose to release all that resides within us that takes away from our freedom. . CHOOSE to break free. My name is Patti Dell’Osso and I am the owner of Body and Soul Wellness located in Port Perry, Ontario. . After surviving cancer, I had to confront the sides of me that I had been hiding from for years. It was my shadow work involving low self-worth, unhealthy habits, and toxic relationships. . I made the leap into a healthier lifestyle with an exercise regime and a p...urposeful diet. But I was still facing the same demons even after all of the physical transformation. This is when I tuned into my spiritual side and was guided to learn Reiki. . After years of being a student I finally achieved my dream of becoming a Usui Reiki master.
